How do I know whether it’s right for me?
Once you’ve decided you want to know more then book a free 30 minute phone consultation where you can tell me what you’re looking for and we can work through a few ideas. After that, it’s up to you whether you go ahead or not.
What happens next?
First, we have a chat via video call so you can tell me a little about what you’re looking for and you can see if you want to go ahead (book that here).
When you decide to go ahead with the commission, you book your design consultation and pay a deposit of £100 to secure your slot.
You can choose whether to have updates throughout the process or wait for the big reveal.
On completion, you pay the remaining balance..
Havana Memento
Raymond came to me with some fabulous photos from his once in a lifetime cruise around the Caribbean and Cuba. He fell in love with the mix of old and new in Havana and wanted to celebrate it in a bespoke print.
He has saved some currency and wants this mounted in the centre so this was incorporate into the design.
Raymond wanted to be part of the process so I sent him regular photos showing hime the different stages. He made choice about the layout, given a few options and was keen for me to include colour through a watercolour background (he’d seen some of my previous work in this style).
Once finished, Raymond chose to have me frame his work ready to hang.
“I have commissioned two pieces of work recently. The work was outstanding. Very satisfied”
Bespoke Commissions
If you like my style but want something bespoke and totally unique then why not consider commissioning a piece.
What is a commission?
A commission is where you ask an artist (me) to create something unique that meets your needs. Perhaps you have a particular place you like to go that you’d like to commemorate or a favourite flower that you’s love in a specific set of colours. Whatever it is, we can explore what works for you and your home.
Miracle Baby Hot Air Balloon
Mairie-Claire got in touch when she found out she was pregnant. It had taken a long time and she wanted to mark the new baby with a special one off print.
She decided on a hot air balloon and sent some photos of hot air balloon designs that she liked. From that, I put together some sketches and she picked the green and gold. The colours fit with the planned nursery and the sheen of the gold added something extra.
Mairie-Claire wanted ‘the big reveal’ at the end so chose not to see the process.
Once completed, she entrusted me with the name of her baby and the title of her piece - not even the family knew his name yet!
She was thrilled with her piece and had it hung ready for Seth’s arrival.
