Terms & Conditions

Customisation and commissions

I love to work with customers to create the perfect print or gift item. This can be arranged using the ‘'Commissions'’ section of the website. after discussion and design for original commissions, a deposit must be paid before the product is made, in order to cover materials. This deposit will then be deducted from the total cost and the finished item will be listed under the customer’s name.

Returns and exchanges are not available for commissions and customised pieces.

Satisfaction Guarantee

I know you’ll love this print as much as I do. In fact, if for any reason you’re not completely satisfied, just return your print within 30 days and we’ll issue a full refund. Find out more here. The print must arrive in the same condition as it was sent to qualify for a full refund.

The following items can't be returned or exchanged

Because of the nature of these items, unless they are proven to have arrived damaged or defective, I do not accept returns for:

  • Custom or personalised orders

  • Items on sale

Conditions of return

Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value, which will be deducted from the refund.

Returns Process:

  1. You must contact me at thepeacockandtheprintmaker@gmail.com (or via the contact me section of the website) to request your refund within the 30 day period (starting from the day you receive your print. This date will be recorded in the Post Office 48 hour delivery service).

  2. Refunds will not include the postage or import and export taxes. The refund is solely for the print that is being returned.

  3. The refund will be processed on receipt of the returned print and its condition has been verified.

  4. The refund will be sent directly back to the account that the fee was originally paid from and this cannot be changed.

  5. You will receive an email signalling that the refund is being processed.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation of Discovery Calls

There is no charge for ‘Commission Calls’ so cancellations can be made at any time. Cancelling with courtesy at more than 24 hour’s notice allows other people to use the time slot and allows Heather time to find you another appointment should you require one.

Cancellation of Workshops

Workshops booked directly through thepeacockandtheprintmaker.com or the associated Eventbrite listings can be cancelled by sending an email to thepeacockandtheprintmaker@gmail.com.

In such cases, refunds apply as follows:

  • A week or more before the event - 100% refund

  • 2 - 6 days before the event - 50% refund

  • Under 48 hours - no refund

Where a 10% deposit has been paid for a large group event, refunds will only be made for the remaining 90%

For events booked through another party, cancellations and refunds must be pursued through the company that sold the tickets.

Cancellation on Our Part

In such a case as we cancel the event, full refund or rescheduling will be offered.

I use your information to provide the services you requested and in my legitimate interest to improve my services; and 2) Compliance with the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use. I use your information as necessary to comply with my obligations under the Etsy Seller Policy and Terms of Use.

Service providers. I engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to my shop, such as delivery companies. I will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Business transfers. If I sell or merge my business, I may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

Data Retention

I retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with my services and as described in my Privacy Policy. I generally keep your data for the following time period: 4 years.

Transfers of Personal Information Outside the EU

I do not currently transfer any information outside of the EU.

Your Rights

If you reside in certain territories, including the EU, you have a number of rights in relation to your personal information. While some of these rights apply generally, certain rights apply only in certain limited cases. I describe these rights below:

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information I hold about you by contacting me using the contact information below.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict my use of, or delete your personal information. Absent exceptional circumstances (like where I am required to store data for legal reasons) I will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Object. You can object to (i) my processing of some of your information based on my legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from me after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, I will delete your personal information unless I have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about my use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.

How to Contact Me
