I’ve been following the work of Sarah Graham for a good few years now. Our Wedding Gift List included one of her massive canvas prints that hangs in all its glory in our dining room making us smile every day. She makes art that brings joy and that inspires me to do the same.

I was challenged to produce a piece of work celebrating a female artist and it took around one second to decide that I would be championing the wonderful Sarah Graham.

I am thrilled to announce that my work was selected to be part of the Inspirational Women Artists Exhibition with ‘a space’ arts at God’s House Tower.

Not only do I love the colourful nostalgia of her incredible realistic oil paintings but I love how open she is about her struggles with her mental health and how her art has helped her to manage it. She’s a truly inspirational woman and you can find my tribute to her here.

All of the pieces on display will be sold in the silent auction with 50% of the sale going to Yellow Door, a Southampton-based charity that prevents and responds to domestic and sexual abuse.
