Dreaming of Paris Lino Reduction Print in Macaron Pastels and Metallics
Dreaming of Paris
Paris is a city that lingers in the heart long after you leave—a place where every street holds a story, every meal feels like an artwork, and every building whispers of history. It’s a dream destination for those who find joy in the perfect croissant, the glow of golden-hour light on the Seine, and the quiet magic of an artist sketching in Montmartre.
‘Dreaming of Paris’ captures that feeling—the romance, the inspiration, and the timeless beauty of a city that calls to lovers of food, culture, and architecture alike. Whether you’ve wandered its streets or simply dream of doing so, this print is a window into that world.
Creation
This print was created using the Lino reduction method as well as jigsawing. This means that the Lino was sectioned into 4 pieces that slotted together for the initial metallic layers. I then carved into the Lino to show the architectural detail and printed a second layer in pastels.
