  • hello Hooray Studios 16 Tyne View, Lemington, Newcastle upon Tyne NE15 8RA Newcastle upon Tyne NE15 8RA United Kingdom (map)

Do you ever wish you’d learned to draw?

Would you love to take time out from your busy week and do something just for you?

'Drawing with Light’, hosted by Heather Moore (professional artist and teacher) and Claire Albans (Crafter extraordinaire and owner of Hello Hooray Studio), is an opportunity for you to slow down and learn some step by step drawing skills in a beautiful workshop setting.

What you get

In this two hour session, you will receive expert guidance from Heather Moore (a teacher with 16 years of experience). She will guide you through the basics of capturing a still life image using charcoal and chalk.

You’ll learn how to banish the white and draw by adding and removing charcoal. By the end of the session, you’ll have created a still life drawing that you can be proud of and will be raring to grab a sketchbook and keep going.

We’ll even do the cleaning up so you just get the fun bit.

Who is it for?

This workshop is suitable for people of all ages. All you need to be able to do is hold a pencil and use a rubber.

There is no artistic skill required prior to the workshop so there’s no need to be shy.
